Have you been wondering how to use the gifts God has given you?

God has uniquely equipped each of us to serve Him and others. Romans 12:6 reminds us, “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.” But how do you discover those gifts?

  • Pray for Guidance – Ask God to show you how He’s equipped you. “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace” (1 Peter 4:10).

    Reflect on Your Strengths – Think about what you enjoy doing and where you feel most fulfilled. God often aligns your passions with your gifts. “Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on …” (Phil. 3:12)

  • Ask Trusted People – Friends, mentors, or leaders often see gifts in us before we do. Their insights can point you in the right direction.

  • Try Serving – The best way to uncover your gifts is to step out and serve. Opportunities at LTCC include worship, teaching, prayer, technical support, facility, finances, administration, hospitality, or outreach.

Just as Nehemiah led God’s people to rebuild Jerusalem’s wall, each person had a role in the work. Your unique gifts are essential in our journey together with Jesus building God’s kingdom here at Lake Tapps.
