Vision Wall ideas!
Each one of us has valuable thoughts and opinions, but so often we convince ourselves to keep quiet even when asked. We think… Is it my place to ask this question? Do I have enough relational equity for my opinion to be shared and valued? Surely, I’m the only one with this opinion. I should just let other people decide.
But may I remind you of 2 Timothy 1:7 (amplified version):
“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].”
With that said, the Transition Team invites you to pray about and then share your vision for LTCC on the newly placed Vision Wall!
Have you just started attending? We would love to hear from you.
Are you an “official” LTCC member? We must hear from you.
Have you been attending since the doors opened 50 some years ago? We need to hear from you.
Are you 10 years old or 102 years old? We want to hear from you.
The Vision Wall is up in the hallway just outside the Children’s Wing, and it’s waiting for your ideas.
What ministries would you love to see at your church?
What would make you excited to get involved here?
What would inspire you to share what God is doing at your church with others in our community?
What would it look like for us to live out our mission of “Loving God by Helping People Follow Jesus”?
God made each of us unique with a diverse set of opinions, gifts and talents so I am certain there will be a fun and full range of ideas on that wall soon! Won’t you pray about the direction of our church and put your ideas on the Vision Wall this Sunday?
I’m excited to see where you want LTCC to go and where God will lead us in the next few years! I trust that God will lead each of us to share ideas that will allow our body to be unified and built up in love!
Ephesians 4 - 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
We will be collecting your ideas through mid-June. At that point, the Elder Team will review all of your submissions and prayerfully consider incorporating them into the direction the Lord is leading us. The resulting vision will be presented by the Elders at the June 30th Members’ Meeting. You won’t want to miss it!
