Building Our Wall
On Palm Sunday, LTCC will hear the Gospel proclaimed and Scriptures taught. We will participate in sincere prayer and worship our God. In many ways it will be what it always is, time with our LTCC family. It will also be a day of great excitement, anticipation and joy as we hear Andrew Middlekauff preach his candidate sermon!
Our path to this point has taken over 3 years! In many ways, it resembles the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem we have been examining in Nehemiah. The work of rebuilding our fellowship has required the work of many people in many ways.
Since the PST began in June of 2024, we have bathed our Pastoral Search in prayer, given encouragement and blessings, asked questions, offered suggestions, and shown great interest. We have sought God’s guidance for a good team, a trustworthy process and clear vision of His will. And we have been reminded that God has always known our next pastor… that we want to follow His footsteps on the way.
Last Sunday, Bob taught from Nehemiah 4:7-15, about when the Jews grew weary in their task of rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. Like our search, it was a big effort, they had rubble to clear and there were obstacles and enemies to overcome. They triumphed by remaining vigilant, defending each other and keeping their eyes fixed on God… trusting Him for protection and provision… by pursuing His glory.
Bob’s sermon reminded me that “building our wall” has also been a big effort and even as we look for a blessed conclusion to that effort, let’s stand in the gaps by praying for God’s protection and provision, and encourage one another as we anticipate what God will do… for our good and for His glory!

I would like to remind everyone about our upcoming “Spring Spruce Up” day on April 5th from 9:00 to 11:00 am. Doughnuts will be provided. It promises to be a rewarding day of fellowship and service, helping to beautify our church grounds.
Additionally, it is that time of year to organize a mowing/weed trimming crew for the upcoming months. If serving on the grounds crew interests you, please let me know.
Thank you again for your continued support and commitment to our church family!
