God at work

Dear LTCC Family,

It was encouraging to see God at work here at LTCC in our Member's Meeting this past Sunday.  There's so much to praise our Father for as we also wait on Him to answer our prayers.

 Praise and Encouragement:

  • Financial blessings through an approved budget that will grow our missions reach, minister to our children through children's ministries, and care for our church building (to name a few important items).

  • A growing Children's ministry with Adventure Club starting up this month.

  • A growing Love One Another benevolence team to better serve our community (inside & outside our walls).

  • Affirmed church leadership that will continue to serve the church body, growing in church unity as we work through our Restore phase.

  • An answer to prayer for Leeanne Needham as our new Women's Ministry Leader.

  • An active body; attending services, serving the Lord, and growing through weekly studies.

  • Faithful family members and men from Village Missions to preach God's word Sunday mornings.

Waiting on Him:

  • We pray God will provide clarity, wisdom, and biblical solutions as we work through feedback and recommendations on desired changes for church leadership structure and associated processes.

  • We pray God will provide a Sr. Pastor and a Youth Director in his timing.

  • We pray for upcoming elder/deacon meetings that they are Spirit led and glorifying to God.


The popular Psalm 23 was part of my daily reading recently.  It's the "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not be in want." Psalm.  At its heart is an expression of confidence in the protective care of God, upon whom David expressed absolute dependence.  With so much to be thankful for and so much to long for, my prayer is as a church family we find comfort in our dependence on Him and confidence in His protective care.
